    It's here!

My new 5-yard kilt in MM 16 oz. Ancient Murray from USA Kilts is here!

Picked it up from the post office after lunch.

Picks of me wearing it later, when the wife gets home from work. In the meantime, here are a couple of staged shots of it.

I'll be wearing it out on Friday night, and to the Arizona Renaissance Festival on Saturday.

Congratulations! Beautiful tartan and nice-looking kilt.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Agreed! I really like that sporran and can't wait to see the entire outfit...derby and all!

    Well, where are the pics?!

It's funny that you brought up the bowler hat. My wife bought me one a few weeks ago for pennies at an antique shop. Looks pretty good with a suit, but I haven't worked up the curiosity yet to see what it looks like with a kilt. So I'm curious to see your pics.

    Beautiful kilt!

BTW the sporran in the top photo is the distinctive style long worn by The Black Watch.

I have a Canadian one (RHR of Canada).

Not all that common to come across them lacking the badge, and also lacking the holes for the badge; mine was the same, in new unissued condition.

About the bowler hat, I see that fairly often around here, but usually with Utilikilts.
