where to buy sporran
hi
I'm new to the forum. My name is Erik Ross, and live in Norway. I'm going to buy me a new sporran, and it stands between a sporran, which scotweb sell, or have it custom made by artificer. or do you have any tips that you can recommend where I should buy sporran?

Hello Erik!

Take a look at the sporrans at Wyvern Leatherworks. There's a link to the website at the bottom of every page here.

I got my daywear sporran from Donnie at Wyvern Leatherworks who is one of the advertisers on this site. His craftmanship is first rate. The other extreme would be a sporran from Pakistan sold on e-bay, inexpensive but you get what you pay for. There are however some well-made used and ex-hire sporrans on e-bay that you might find for a decent price.

Erik,
Welcome to the forum. Can you tell us if you are looking for a daywear sporran or an evening wear? Your budget might also factor into your choice.
Someday I will own an Artificer sporran.
Again, welcome.

Firstly welcome to the forum, as you are in Norway I wonder if you have heard of Freelander sporrans? They do a day wear Rob Roy style sporran. If that is the style you are looking for than they would be a great choice. Here is their website

Really interesting site!
Are they still in business? The latest update on the pages is from 2009.
