tartan waistcoat
I scored a length of asymmetric tartan today and I think there's enough to make a waistcoat. The warp does not match the weft. There are rectangles.

The piece is 57x21=1197 sq inches. It's not much, so I only have one shot.
Question: What is the secret to lining up the lines across the front? I am not going to be cutting on the bias.
