    The end of my jones

The end of my jones is in sight! I just received the email telling me that my new Wallace Collection Jacket and vest is being shipped today.

It's not a bespoke jacket, so it will probably need to be tailored somewhat, so that is good for a few more days of jonesing.

This will be my first proper kilt jacket. Both of my others are conversions. Pics as soon as it's good to go!

    Thanks Rocky!

My Wallace kilt jacket and waistcoat arrived this weekend right on time. It arrived packed in a very nice garment bag with the USA Kilts logo. I can't remember the last time I bought a suit and got a proper garment bag with it.

Height-wise, I am right on the cusp between "Short" and "Regular" jacket lengths. Rocky advised me to order Regular because it's easy to have the sleeves shortened a bit. This was good advice. The jacket fits great and the sleeves just need a little hem.

It's at my tailor now. I'll have it in a few days and then there will be pics!

Here's a pic of my new Wallace Collection jacket and vest worn with my USA Kilts 8 yard kilt in Stewart Hunting.
