You know what caught my eye? Their nice shiny matching shoes! I wonder if they are some dressed-down pipers or something?

    Matt,

What catches my eye is the tartan the bearded fellow in the center is wearing. That must be one heck of a big sett!

    Cheers

    That is a big sett!

The other thing I liked in it was the jacket on the gentleman on the left. The other thing I noticed was on the man on the right...slightly scrunched hose with what look like very tiny flashes. It only stood out to me as I've never seen flashes that small. Perhaps I'm sheltered....
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

From what we can see of the sett, it doesn't appear to actually be a tartan, so much as a fashion one. The fringe on that kilt also looks like it's either purled, or the fringe edge of a fleece blanket

The flashes on the right do appear very tiny, and the socks don't appear to be hose.

There's also a lot of horse hair going on in here. Some of it looks a little rough. (are the tassels stripped on that sporran second from the left?)

The fella in the blue kilt... Is his sporran being worn up at his natural waist?

Is this like a game ?? I don't like to judge people. Do you like it when people do it to you ? O.K. with that out of the way . It does seem a wee bit odd to me. The tiny flashes have already been mentioned, the gentleman with the red beard appears to be wearing a Day Plaid wrapped around his waist for a kilt and it's too long (past knees), he's also missing some of the black horse hair tassles on his sporran (4 out of 5), I do believe Great Beard is missing some on his to (I hape I'm nae tae nitpicky), I do like his beard. I don't know, some of it seems odd, some of it seems, although peculiar, alright. It does seem like it was the final dae of a weekend or week long drinking binge that included many a fight with them brave little elves that had tae give up their wee little flashes for trophies. Great Beard is also showing how hiking socks work for kilt hose. I can't stop laughing about them tiny flashes. I don't know why. It keeps crackin me up. Strange, yes, but todae I need a good laugh. I should stop.
