Interesting Day

Woke at 5 AM. Did 3 loads of laundry. Attended pancake feed at local church. Picked up poster board at art store. Got haircut from my friendly barber. Made signs for party. Got dressed (kilted, of course). Drag signs to location of party and install. Prepped party room for stepdaughters engagement party. Greeted guests and showed them where party room was. Party was held at a conference center where the wife works. Lots of people here for the weekend. Mostly older women. Lots of comments about the kilt. All good. Lots of smiles from the women. Several questions. Where are you playing?
I play everywhere. Is there a special occasion. Every day is kilt day in my world. Can I snap your garters? Sorry, wearing a pair of Cacunn's Custom Ties. Then I will just fluff your tassles. Are you regimental. Yes, I do the same thing every day and in the same order. Lot of women have accents from various places in UK. Had to walk through group at least 5 times. Down to the party. There is a Couple from Scotland volunteering at the center. Delightful Couple. Gave me high marks on my kilt. He says he left his kilt at home. Next time he comes, He will bring it. Got through evening without expected family squabbles. Joan put together a wonderful party. Food was great. A good time was had by all. Another successful outing in the kilt. Darn, I'm tired.
