A tip though. If you are going to wear something underneath make sure it is a darker colour. The peak of "tidy-whities" just doesn't cut it.

First of all, int: I live in a city where there are many cultural variances. I like wearing my Kilts in all situations, To Church, the movies, theater, concerts, walking my dog., or any of the many different celebrations where different cultures are supported. most of the time I get positive responses, sometimes not. I don't let it get to me. [I]JUST KEEP WEARING FOR YOU!!:
    Enjoy

I agree about being in school. Also, at work I wear undergarments - I don't need to end up in HR because I accidentally flashed someone!

I always go regimental, but I thought, if I ever had to wear something under it, some nice, Saltire boxers would do the trick. Then, if you accidently flashed someone, or got "kilt lifted", you could just bellow, "Aye, Scotland the Brave!"

    Just a thought...

I always wear black undies when around kids; they're shorter and unlike we adults, tend to "look up".......

Well, you could wear stars and stripes boxers and if you get your kilt lifted you could say, "Will you please rise and join in the singing of our National Anthem...Oh say can you see...". That ought to put 'em in their place.

Funny, Panache hasn't answered this thread. He'll probably kill me for doing so. My advice: wear underwear if there is a strong likelihood that others will be peeking. For example, my dear husband volunteers at my son's school. He is always very careful to wear something under the kilt on those days.

I am in so much trouble for revealing my husband's undergarment preference.

The only time he has had a serious kilt check (from someone other than me) was, oddly enough, one of the times he figured he was safe NOT wearing anything. I hope she enjoyed herself, as it is all she will ever get from him!

    Be well,
