Hello SB,yes it looks like we are in for a fair bit of snow,it is rather unusual these days to have it at low level as it is now.In my youth,1940's,we would be snowed in for many a week, but I can't remember the last time that happened in recent years.Maybe tomorrow?

I got snowed in while up in Dornie a good few years back (early 90's) and was stuck for 3 days and 2 nights with no phone or other outside-world contact. I was working nights at a call centre back in Liverpool at the time and remember having to beg to be able to keep my job after going AWOL It was actually fun being stuck up there though, and is now a fond memory... much like snow itself these days!

Welcome SportBilly. My Mum was a Liverpublian. Whem I visited family there many of them could not understand me. My Uncle Jimmy would say, boy would you speak the King's English!

That's really funny! Ironically, we hardly speak what's now the Queen's English in Liverpool. I've found that I've had to learn to speak more slowly and use far less slang words over here as people just don't know what I'm going on about half the time, lol.
