Last time I had Dreadfu, I was less than socially acceptable for a good long time. It has a sweet yet tangy taste to it, and is quite powerful if you are not careful.

After three glorious years of Romer Pils, Kaiser Pils, and other fine beverages as a regular diet in Deutchland, the lame excuse called Bud was an irritation to the taste buds. Spiked it with Mountain Dew and vodka until I could get Guiness on a regular basis. This was the first year out of the Air Force. I haven't had any of the above for years. We were in Bavaria and most places didn't add the lemon to the heffeweisen. They would put it in the pilsners. Then again, German drink and cuisine is as regional as here in the states. Good Heffeweisen is a meal in a glass.
