Well done sir!!
May you have positive results.
Do be prepared. I found the worst "teasing" came from coworkers, particularly a lesbian woman who usually wore skirts to work. Was as if I'd usurped her "look." She did ask me what I wore under the kilt and how I managed to "sit down in the men's room" wearing the kilt. Not teasing, a hostile edge.
Most common remark from male coworkers was "Why?"
Most common remarks from female coworkers were ones of approval.
A suggestion. Wear underwear. Worst thing that could happen at work would be falling and exposing. Has happened to me twice, but always wore underwear on the job. Life happens. Can't be too careful.
Other suggestion is to wear black underwear. I started with tartan boxers figuring if something showed at least it'd be tartan. Kids today don't worry about underwear showing but feedback I got from disapproving bosses wasn't so accepting. The tartan boxers made any bit of exposure most evident. Switching to black eliminated the problem, just becomes a shadow.
Hope you're able to open up a few more days as acceptance grows.
