    I'd say listen to the Lady on this one!

    Give yourself a present for the healthier you. Also, having the kilts altered is a good 'gift' too. While we're talking about gifts, as you progress and get healthier, perhaps a gift of "kilting forward" one of your larger kilts to someone who could really use it, might be another gift to share. You loose weight and feel healthier, you get a new kilt as a bonus and you contribute to good kilt karma and help out another lad.
