The regulation lace style sounds good then.
The next thing is tracking down the buttons for the jacket, I'll probably go with pewter, and I found a bear paw button that would work well for the closure button. It's the little quartar inch buttons for the cuffs, epauletts, and pockets that are difficult to find...
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
