Long's Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival: September 9 - 12, 2010

I've made my reservations and will be there for Friday through Sunday. I'll be resting alternatively in the MacIntyre and Buchanan tents when not trekking the grounds. Anyone else going?

This year let's all meet up at the Clan MacLea (Livingstone) tent! I'll be either there or at the piping competition all day, every day.

BTW, Jack, there is only one so you will be able to catch up with us this year

At this point, it doesn't look like I'll be able to make it. I will, however, be at the Elizabeth Celtic Festival (http://www.elizabethcelticfestival.com/) and the Colorado Scottish Festival and Highland Games in Highlands Ranch- see webby here: http://www.scottishgames.org/ Hope to see at least a few of the rabble at one or both of those!

My wife and I were really looking forward to making it out to the big games this year, but alas we have a 50th wedding anniversary for my aunt and uncle that has been planned for that weekend. Congratulations to them, too bad for me though

I just got an e-mail about this last week. GREAT! We'll be there Fri. nite all day Sat and leave Sun. As we get closer to the date keep me informed as to where and when we can all meet.

I'll be there Friday and Saturday. Clan Sutherland will be holding their AGM at this festival this year. I'll look for all those planning to be there.

Pick a time and we can all meet at the MacLea (Livingstone) tent. I would suggest noon Saturday and/or Sunday. kmaclea, an occasional visitor here, will also be at the MacLea (Livingstone) tent in the lower clan area.

I will be there Friday & Saturday so Saturday-noon would work best for me. The parade should be over by then and we will head over to the MacLea tent
after sampling some free Haggis.
