No whisky
I am a poor excuse for a Scotsman. I don't like whisky - in fact, I don't drink alcohol at all. My wife and I visited a Distillery and ended up going round on a tour with a group of visiting Americans. Can I say, I was stunned by their knowledge, I was a bitty ashamed in case they asked me anything about whisky. I know NOTHING about it at all.
When it came to the tasting, I took one, and (I hope) when no one was looking, slipped it to my wife (an American) she knows a good whisky when she tastes one - or so she tells me....However, where she does fall down, is with our other National drink, she doesn't like Irn Bru - Disgraceful.......
