    The pommel looks very distictive and nice to me. What is the sheath made out of? Is it very think, or would it not be too bulky in your hose?

    Thanks, the pommel is the first I have done like that and after looking at it will not be the last. I think I am one to something with the woodgrain look. The sheath is made of poplar wood with a textured finish and weighs about the same as a leather sheath. Wore it in my hose today and could not tell it was there. It is made the same way as the Japanese sayas I use to make and is very durable.
