Butteries are a regional "delicacy" from my home town of Aberdeen, but they are more often called rowies or jist Aiberdeen rolls.
I am a dab haund at stovies, it's one of the few things I cook that the kids will eat without whinging. I am a member of the Stovies Appreciation Society.
