XMarks Ties

I follow your reasoning perfectly Steve and of course you are quite right to point out the realities of it all. But do you know? I am actually rather sorry that there is probably not going to be an Xmarks tie.

I agree with Jock. Not everyone wants to wear something that says "Hey, look at me -- I'm a member of so-and-so!" I prefer more subtle ways to show my membership in an organization, and a club tie is one way to do so. In the same vein, saying that anyone is free to declare their tie the club tie smacks too much of anarchy for this traditionalist, who loves his collection of club and striped ties -- I guess we in the Midwest are not as sophisticated in our desire to not be part of the inner circle.

Perhaps, then, a club tie for the "Auld Crabbits"? Surely we can come up with something that looks nice in a quick and agreeable manner? If interested, please PM me. I can see what the minimum order is. Hmmm....perhaps brown for being a stick in the mud, white for the dreaded kilt hose, etc....
