    Ghosts Wearing Kilts?

Thinking of a recent thread on a ghost hunter show, and a subsequent PM discussion...

Does anyone know of or have stories, accounts, and so on of ghosts wearing kilts?
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I may be wrong but I seem to remember witness reports of kilted pipers and soldiers at Ft. Ticonderoga. Only problem with this is that I believe they were, by that time, wearing issue trews.

I can't say I've read of the Black Watch wearing trews at the siege of Fort Carillon in the French & Indian War...

cajunscot brought up the "Duntrune Castle and the phantom MacDonald piper," but I don't see anything in the thread about the ghost piper wearing a kilt.

As far as I know, which really isn't far at all, the Duntrune piper is only heard and not seen, at least i have never heard of him being seen.

You also have your wars mixed up; the 84th was raised for service in the Revolution, not the F & I.
