Well, well, at long last, here I am in my ABF tie (although you can't see much of it in the pictures).
Before anyone says it, yes, I know the jacket is too long. I made it to wear with my britches, since I wear them much more often than I wear my kilts.
This is my Lockhart kilt that Matt made for me 6 or 7 years ago. I bought the hose and garters from the STM, the sporran was made for me by Tom (A_Hay!), the jacket and waistcoat I made back in the winter, and the shirt I bought at Belk's or Dillard's or someplace like that. I'm not wearing a bonnet as I don't wear a hat indoors and the temperature's in the mid-90s F outside today. So, here 'tis:

And, just to be a little different, (who, me?) here is the same everything except the kilt. This is my much-lauded box-pleat in Carolina tartan, again made by Wizard Newsome.

As I recall, one of the main points of this exercise is to show how the ABF tie will look perfectly alright with a variety of tartans, tattersalls and tweeds. Do I pass muster, Jock?
