For sure check with Kathy Lare of Kathy's Kilts in Albuquerque. Her shop is in her home but she invites folks for measuring etc. I have 8 of her hand sewn kilts. Pics in my gallery if you're interested in seing her work.

Welcome to XMTS. Hopefully you are not out the money on your Scottish Store order. At the current exchange rate I find it much more cost-effective to order from a stateside kiltmaker - there's no difference in quality that I have been able to see.
