Absolutely correct. For what it's worth, I still keep all of my notes dating back to the early 80's from my time in the school system. The statutes of limitations in many countries are themselves rather limited.

Perhaps this 'home improvement store' would rather deal with a general 'boycott' and resulting publicity of their organization by those brothers/sisters who are committed to the universal acceptance for all forms of dress.

My gut says "Yeah, right on!" My brain says that'll get our friend into trouble and perhaps out of work.

Perhaps instead of a boycott, we could all go shopping there whilst kilted! Then, out for a kilt night

The kilt night was what made me suggest the same thing, in a less organized way, in an earlier post. This store is in the Southern Tier of New York and Woodsheal lives in the same neck of the woods and he is, I believe, the instigator...er...organizer of the Twin Tiers Kilt Night which meets monthly in Binghamton, just up the road from Endicott which is where Failed God lives.
Descending on the store en masse might or might not be a good idea. What I originally thought of was kilted ladies and gents shopping there when they needed home improvement type items so the manager sees normal people doing normal things in kilts and, hopefully, comes to realize that kilt wearing is not subversive at all. If a bunch of kilted folk were to show up all at once the manager might see it as a provocation organized by FG and his animosity would be ratcheted up rather than diminished. A kilted presence in the store could be educational if it is not done in a confrontational manner.
Regards,
Brian

I used to work in an office and would wear my kilt regularly. It was a wonderful thing to go to work kilted; however, the job was horrid. Working a call center in health insurance... you get the picture. So even though I was allowed to wear the kilt frequently and I chose to do so I still changed professions.
I am an RN now at a local trauma 1 center and there is no way I could wear a kilt on the job. Just wouldn't work out for me, besides even if I did the threat of getting bodily fluids on a kilt would be horrendous. But, I LOVE my job and profession! Regardless of the fact that I cannot wear my kilt at work. I find other places to wear my kilts.

one of my assistant managers at work today(the opening manager yesterday) and he told me he saw no problem with me being kilted yesterday. And apologized he couldn't do anything yesterday. Im not planning on going kilted any time soon but a lot of my coworkers are a little angry about it as well. The store manager in question has not earned any loyalty from the employees. Coworkers have mentioned coming to work kilted as a group.

Glad to hear you have so much support from your coworkers. We tend to feel like a family where I work and it's a great feeling. It's cool they would think of everyone showing up kilted. I can just imagine the look on your manager's face

Before i actually "talked to" about it a couple of my coworkers told me the wanted to get a kilt. One male and one female. I gave them rockys card since he is where i got my kilt from. The guy even told me he wished he had one already because he would have joined me kilted at work on tartan day.
