A Package from Matt Newsome!
Fed-X just dropped off my package from Matt.
It contained my box-pleated kilt in "Rob Roy" movie tartan, grey hose and a pair of the black garter ties.
Matt did a bang-up job on the kilt, it looks and fits perfectly. Honestly I couldn't be happier. And it is oh so soft, very comfortable.
Unfortunately I don't have pictures so this will have to do, its the clothe that the new kilt was made from. Just imagine the top half gone and the kilt with box-pleats!
thanks Matt!

So Many Tartans So Little Money.
Oh Well! You can't own them all.
Although Hamish has a pretty good start on owning them all

"So Many Tartans So Little Money."
Boo-Yah! No joke huh!
Man, that Rob Roy movie tartan is a great weathered/earth tone sett. Seriously. I knock around in my SWK weathered Lamont often enough, because I like the grey and brown tones. Suits a tartan rather well, and is neutral enough to be worn with anything.
David: Lets get some shots of the box pleater! It has to be a bang up job with that tartan!
I wonder where I am at on Matt's que? I've had my German National on order for a while... I do understand that they take a while to make, and quality should not be rushed by any means... but reading a post about one of Matt's creations makes me jones for it even more...I had put it to the back of my mind, and had stopped itching for it. Now look what you gone and done!
I just need kilts in the Rob Roy tartan, the Roxburgh, the Huntly, Jacobite, MacBean, Aberdeen, Muir Ancient, Buchanan Muted (MacGregor & Hastie variant)... need we encourage the *ahem* addiction?
No seriously... lets encourge.
