Latest Scottish Adventure #6
This is St Mary's College, my old college, which forms the Faculty of Divinity. The tree outside was allegedly planted by Mary Queen of Scots.

Another plaque, this time free of graffiti which recounts the history of the St Mary's quadrangle area. Parliament Hall, where the Scots Parliament once met, was the former University Library until the books were moved to a new building towards the end of my time as a student.

Innes bookshop on South St which was the main supplier of books for students, but their theology selection was poor in my time so if I needed to buy a book quick it meant a trip to Edinburgh (always a good excuse!)

This mosaic mural is on the corner of the Town Hall. Don't laugh but I used to think the words were in Polish because of the way the words were split and read it as "Tostand Drewscity" instead of "To St Andrews City"!

The ruins of an Augustinian Priory on South St, it always used to look lovely when illuminated at night.

More to come!
