When mills run out of fabric
I occasionally read the penalty box from time to time, mostly to see what not to do. One such thread was a rant against Scotweb, and it got me thinking about my last order.
This past May I ordered a casual kilt that would be made from material from Batley mill. I had my delivery date pushed back a couple of times until September. I never asked about the delays really, and eventually the Scotweb staff informed me that the mill had temporarily shut down production. Does this happen often? or has it ever happened to you when ordering a kilt?
BTW, they refunded my order and I used that and some extra money laying around to get an 8 yard from a different mill. I can only say that I am very excited to get, and I hope that there are not any delays. i want to be able to wear it to one of the formal dinners on my honeymoon cruise in December.
