First "True" Kilted Outting
Aside from my introduction post about a year ago this will be my first time posting. Just dropping a few lines about how much fun I had this past weekend in East Amherst NY at a cousins wedding wearing my kilt.
I had previously worn a kilt for my wedding and my best friend's wedding (the rest of the groomsmen were kilted too). So when I got the opportunity to wear one to a cousin's wedding I thought, why not?
I was definately nervous wearing my PC and Kilt to an event with numerous people I didn't really know (wife's extended family) but it was really fun!
Sort of like being a rock star there. Just on the way to the event I had a couple of ladies stop me and tell me how good I looked (wife hovered close). When I got to the event everyone was really cool with it! Definately sold me on continuing to wear my kilt.
Only one bit of razzing from a couple of guys when I came back to my hotel who kept asking me "Do you know where we can find Sean Connery?"
