While I'm kind of hard-nosed about my personal dignity...I am a hugger. Like ridiculously much.

What I am enjoying about this thread is that the "other side of the coin" is getting a hearing. Pretty much every single "I got kilt-checked" thread on X Marks in past years has bristled with indignation, demands for respect, accounts of loud lectures to the offenders, and so on. All that is fine, and I completely agree with pounding a good lesson into someone who thinks that it's just find to hoist someone's kilt in public because it's fun, or grope a guy in front of his wife because "He wore a kilt, he asked for it", or because you're a teenage girl in a crowd of teenage girls and obnoxious behavior is just *expected*..

you bet...

I think it's just good for the OTHER side to get a hearing once in a while. You know.... the side that says if a lass gives you a wink and happens to swat your kilted backside, maybe that's not always such a bad thing, eh? Maybe such behavior, in particular circumstances, or if you know the lass, might just be A-OK, in fact.
