Getting a new sporran- need color advice.

For the dressier occasions, I would go with gray (wild) bunny fur and chromed cantle. I prefer a plain black leather with a Celtic medallion on the flap for day wear. Just a matter of taste. When I get a bit more time, I will try my hand at making a Rob Roy for everyday dress.

I'm so glad you've come away from the Saltire Sporran idea. Fine if you are following the tartan army and watching Scotland playing footy but I don't see it working anywhere else.
