NASCAR Race Pipers
"Amazing Grace" was played by the Charlotte Fire Department Pipes Band prior to NASCAR race today. They were in full dress, don't know the tartan. Red and blue dominated. Very nice.

I knew there was a reason I liked NASCAR (aside of turning left and going really really fast)

Awesome! Found it on YouTube, from the CFD. Is it just me, or do pipes, aircraft, beautiful girls, and open headers all heat the blood of a kilted man about equally?

Does anyone know what the two aircraft with the C47 in the flyover were? One looked like maybe a P47 but I'm not sure.
Never mind, I found the information. With the C47, the others were an A! Skyraider and a T28 Trojan, all from the Viet Nam era.
